New Porcelain Dolls
are on the Way!
Unlike my previous
mini porcelain doll series these dolls incorporate many different materials and challenges.
I start by sculpting
porcelain into head and limbs. After they are carefully dried and fired in kiln, I handpaint them with high quality french china paints. This can involve many additional firings.
The bodies are soft
and poseable. Starting with copper armatures they are covered in cotteon and genuine chamois skin.
Final details are added :
hand sewn clothing, real wool hair, copper stands and headdresses, and handmade wooden display boxes.
I try to use sustainanble
and recyclable parts when I can. Almost every part of these dolls is handmade!

Mini Porcelain dolls
These little cuties are only 2-6inches! I began making them in collaboration
with my aunt Carol of 'Toney Treasures' on Etsy and Ebay. They come in variety of animals and characters. Unlike commercial dolls they are each made individually by hand. No molds are used and each feature is hand sculpted.
