The City of Olympia sent their video guy, Josh and his buddy, Luke, to do an interview at my house this month. Driving over rough terrain, braving primitive conditions and bad directions, they made it finally to my little studio in the woods!
Because the city is purchasing the piece, Aquapia, for the artwalk guide cover, they often video the artists as well, promoting the Artwalk itself. And 'the boys' did an amazing job! Click on the link below and see Loralin in her studio, discover some secrets as to how I make my intricate work, and be inspired for your own artistic urges! https://www.facebook.com/cityofolympia/videos/vb.107501283164/10154675391673165/?type=2&theater Don't forget to come to Splash Gallery on the wharf at the Olympia Spring Artwalk this Friday, April 28th, 5-10pm, and Saturday, 12-8pm to see Aquapia, my show RISE, demos of other co-op artists and much much more! The Procession of the Species usually starts around 4:30pm Saturday.
