Fairies & Art Dolls...deeper into the rabbit hole

SHAPESHIFTER
​As I prepare to launch my new series of Fairies and art dolls, I cant help but share some of the journey(and new photo shoot by Nostalgia Captured).  ABove is the eerie Shapeshifter who has been with me in the making of the other folk!
Below is her beautiful handpainted screen. She comes with a stand, a platform, screen and accessories to play with(crown, antlers).

INTRODUCING......  AVALON
First of the Deerfolk Series...

​AVALON (and yes that is my well used hand in there for scale!)

Avalon is my truly unique trip into the art doll experience. She/He has a poseable body, china painted limbs and head, handmade clothes and accessories. Her clothes took me three days to complete and can be easily removed. Avalon and the other Deerfolk dolls are unique in their shape so also come with their own simple clothes patterns for you to make more clothes for them! 

The poseable body is made of copper and covered with cotton. After tightly stitching the form I hand sew the chamois leather 'skin' on. Each doll is completely handmade and meant to rival the uniqueness of any doll out there.

FAIRY FUN!!

As I seem to be in another childhood -as I call it- the dolls pave the way to yes.....Fairy obsession!!! I love making fairies!

Above are a few samples of what I have made so far (some sold) .Just finishing up a very big fairy for me at about 13 inches high (lots of work for bigger things) She is in the Greenware stage here on left and china painted with tibetian lamb hair on right.

​I have invited friends over to have a fairy quest on my land, and have taken amazing photos of orbs during a fairy invite/portal opening with a friend late one night....They flooded in(they?) It was truly magical.
